Masters of Spanish Baroque – Sint-Janshospitaal in Bruges
Studio Warmerdam created a lightdesign for the exhibit De Mena, Murillo, Zurbaran – Masters of Spanish Baroque at the Sint-Janshospitaal in Bruges. The scenography for this exhibit consists of backlit textile walls that gives the room a glow and a sense of tranquil ongoing space.
The statues are lit with a subtile dynamic light program that changes direction and colour giving the experience a sense of time and taking it out of its static museum setting.
